Our new album"Life on Hold" will officially hit iTunes & Retailers shelves on September 20th/11 We are very excited to share this news with all our dedicated & patient fans! The next question we know that everyone is wondering is.."When will we get to hear some new songs from the album?" Well you can expect to hear brand new material from "Life on Hold" with-in the next couple of weeks. We haven't announced an official date yet when we will be posting some of the new album material online but keep a close eye on our Facebook Page & Twitter we will be announcing it very soon! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ July 25th 2011 A special thanks goes out to everyone who came to check us out live at the Starlite Room this past Thursday for the New Music West Festival as we warmed up the stage Econoline Crush. We had a blast seeing a lot of familiar faces & meeting some new fans. Photos from our showcase at the New Music West Festival will be posted with-in the week so keep your eye on our Photogallery for those photos to emerge. With July almost at a close we are going to be officially announcing the release date of our new album, title & CD Release show here in our hometown of Edmonton, AB. We've kept a lot of you in suspense over the past while with promises of a release date and we can't wait to finally announce it soon! We will also be releasing a new single to Radio + Adding a couple songs online for your listening pleasure! Keep your eyes on our Facebook + Twitter page to participate in contests for the release of our new album! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ June 27th 2011 Last week we officially announced that we will be opening for Canadian rockers Econoline Crush at the Starlite Room on July 21st/11. Econoline Crush is currently on tour making their comeback into the Canadian music scene and we are very excited to support their return to the stage! We are also excited to announce that Se7en Sided has been chosen to take part in the critically acclaimed Edmonton the Musical as directed and produced by Cara Albo. Tickets are now available for the Edmonton the Musical online. This event will feature 2 of Se7en Sided's singles from their debut album 'The Silver Lining' and the event is sure to be an amazing display of Edmonton talent and the trials & tribulations of relationships in Edmonton. We were very privileged to share the stage with some great acts including Matt Blais and Tupelo Honey. It was nice to see so many familiar faces and new faces. In other news, we are working very hard to ensure the completion of our new full length album (approx release: August/Sept 2011). We are getting so excited to share a new side of Se7en Sided with all our fans. Stay tuned to our .com for more news regarding our new full length. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ June 6th 2011 Happy Monday 7S Fans, its hard to believe that its already June and summertime is well underway! 2 Weekends ago we had the privilage of performing for the Canadian Cancer Relay at the U of A (Foote Field). We will be taking the stage at On the Rocks to debut a few new songs from our new album (est. release Sept 2011). We just wanted to send a huge thank you out to the Canadian Cancer Relay at the U of A in Edmonton for having us perform in support of such a great cause for our 2nd year in a row. Yesterday we were privileged to grace the Virgin Radio/CJAY Main Stage at the 22nd Annual 4th St Lilac Festival to perform for thousands of Calgarians while enjoying the amazing weather. A big thank you to Calgary for their warm welcome and support! We will be posting some new photos from these past shows in the next week. In other news we have a new show announcement coming later this week that we’re looking forward to everyone coming out to hear a few never heard before new tracks from our new album. We have been working hard day in and day out in the studio with producer Randor Lin recording our 2nd full length & we have to say all the hard work has been paying off immensely. We've been a little slow on the News Updates this past month on our official website, but we are excited to announce that we have officially entered the Studio to start recording our new 2nd full lenghth album 'Title To Be Announced'. We are really excited about this new album and are hoping all our fans are ready to hear a new side of Se7en Sided! There's been no announcement of the album title yet but in the coming months we will be revealing the new title + more additional information on what Se7en Sided fans can expect with our 2nd album release. The winter storm here in Alberta Canada has made it very easy to stay locked in-doors. We've accumulated somewhere between 18" - 24"s of snow over the last few days, which has rendered our Trailer & Band van useless. But with the bad weather we have made it very productive. We have some new shows to announce in the coming weeks as well as more developments on our progress through our new album.
